About the Series
In its 32nd season, the Prague Philharmonia's Chamber Series will delve into the theme of folklore, highlighting works and composers inspired by folk themes. The leitmotif thus takes us back to our roots, to folk music, featuring composers such as Leoš Janáček, Jan Vičar, and Antonín Dvořák, while also showcasing international composers like Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály, George Enescu, Nikolai Kapustin, and others. The chamber series also traditionally includes composer anniversaries.
