Pavel Trojan & Pavel Trojan Jr.
Two composers, two important men of Czech culture, both from the same family. The long-serving director of the Prague Conservatory, and the former youngest-ever director of the Prague Spring International Music Festival who is now the director of the Prague Philharmonia. Meet father and son: Pavel Trojan and Pavel Trojan Jr.
The concert will feature chamber music by both composers, including a world premiere. At the following discussion many questions will be asked – about composing, about the importance of exceptional musical institutions in the Czech Republic, about contemporary music.
