A Great Atmosphere at David Koller's Rock for People Concert

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Prague Philharmonia accompanied singer David Koller at the Rock for People festival. And the audience was thrilled with the collaboration!

The singer himself was full of praise: "I'm glad we had the chance to rehearse with the orchestra the day before because they proved to be utterly professional. The conductor and the musicians had everything perfectly prepared, so going on stage with them was easy. We played from 11:30 in the morning, and I was pleased that so many people came and sang along with us. For me, it was a great concert," he told the server Novinky.cz.

"The arrangements for the orchestra were really well done; they didn't clash with what Koller's band was playing, nor was it a gratuitous addition," praises our performance a review on Headliner.cz.

"The new arrangements best suited last year's piece 'My se vám ozveme' (We'll Get Back to You) from the album 'LP XXIII', where the combination of modern sound with an orchestra felt original, yet functional. An even stronger impression was then made by the dark 'Vězenkyně' (The Prisoner) from the same record, whose chilling lyrics about domestic violence were written by Jáchym Topol," adds Musicserver.cz.

The project of cross-over concerts of the Prague Philharmonia at the Rock for People festival was created thanks to the initiative and long-term support of Komerční banka, which was at its birth and supports it financially and as a partner every year. The result is a unique experience that breaks down the boundaries between genres and brings music performed by the philharmonic orchestra to a new audience in an unmistakable festival environment.
