The Prague Philharmonia under the baton of Polish conductor Łukasz Borowicz performs at the Kölner Philharmonie with a programme full of romantic sentiment and symphonic energy.
Regarded as the epitome of romantic intimacy, Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor is a work of brilliance and deep emotionality. The solo part will be performed by Spanish pianist Martín García García, winner of numerous prestigious piano competitions.
The second half of the concert features Ludwig van Beethoven’s powerful and exhilarating Symphony No. 7 in A major — a work in which the joy of life and profound moments of reflection are an expression of both grief and regained freedom.
