At the closing concert of the Talich’s Beroun International Music Festival, Prague Philharmonia will appear with the distinguished soloist, Jan Fišer, concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic, under the baton of Jiří Habart, one of the most promising young Czech conductors of today. A highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of Jiří Pelikán’s Dvě brány (Two Gates), commissioned by the festival to mark the 760th anniversary of the first written mention of the town of Beroun.
