Symfonie vína
The Symphony of Wine was composed by contemporary Czech composer Jan Kučera as a modern symphonic poem inspired by the Moravian region of the Czech Republic and by its wine-making traditions.
Written for a traditional orchestra, the work consists of six movements. Two of them incorporate traditional Czech folk songs to emphasize the connection to viticultural heritage and the Czech cultural roots. The remaining movements are purely instrumental, depicting in music the stories, flavors and regional character of the various wines.
